RENOVATED BARN LIVING ROOM
DESIGN STYLE: FARMHOUSE COASTAL
-
A living room design refresh. Through the Full Visualisation Package, I created mood boards, a 2D plan, 3D model and renderings. Phase 2 was managed by the client with support on furniture and finishes selections.
-
A well-balanced space should have a few focal points that draw the eye without overpowering the overall design. This room does exactly that in a subtle way, thoughtfully layered. The bespoke media unit I designed for the client, in a light, neutral tone, styled with books, ornaments and accessories, creates an inviting visual as you enter. The coastal-style tongue and groove panelling adds rustic charm and depth and lightens up the space. The colours from the artwork are repeated in elements around the room.
-
Being a converted barn with varying room levels across the house, this living room had a low ceiling, a small window, narrow french doors, and dark furniture and accessories that made it feel enclosed. To address this, we opened up the layout, without making any structural changes, but instead introduced a lighter, neutral palette, and incorporated finishes and furnishings that reflect the home’s style. By balancing clean, modern lines with warm textures and natural materials, the room now feels bright, airy, and inviting.
-
The overall design has been centred around the seascape artwork that the client had already purchased, with its colours and mood echoed throughout the scheme.
This living room has been designed with a modern coastal style infused with farmhouse elements, reflecting the home’s natural surroundings and maintaining cohesion with the rest of the house.
JACK & JILL BATHROOM

A guest bathroom redesign. Through the Full Visualisation Package, I created mood boards, 2D plans, a 3D model and renderings. Phase 2 product selections & procurement, and project management of redesign is in progress. The bathroom will be installed at the beginning of 2026.
-
One of the key improvements in this design is the introduction of ample, well-planned storage. I incorporated a vanity unit which features deep drawers, making it easy to see and access everyday essentials. A lower shelf provides additional space for towels or decorative touches, while two sets of double wall shelves maximise vertical storage without overwhelming the room.
-
This bathroom has been completely elevated from its original look, with a timeless monochromatic colour scheme, layered textures, and a thoughtful blend of industrial and traditional elements. Warm tones, statement Moroccan floor tiles, and natural finishes like wood and wicker soften the industrial edge, creating a space that feels both stylish and welcoming. Carefully chosen fixtures, feature shelving, and ambient lighting bring character and balance, transforming the room into a refined yet functional retreat.
-
A key focus of this redesign was ensuring the bathroom feels connected to the rest of the house, which carries a warm, coastal–industrial aesthetic. The monochrome palette ties in with the home’s clean and modern feel, while natural materials, warm finishes, and touches of wicker and wood bring the same sense of lightness and comfort found throughout. The bathroom now feels like a seamless extension of the wider home - cohesive, inviting, and true to the overall style.
SPA RETREAT INSPIRED EN-SUITE
DESIGN STYLE: MODERN COASTAL

An en-suite redesign. Through the Full Visualisation Package, I created a mood board, 2D plan, 3D model and renderings. Phase 2 product selections & procurement, and project management of redesign is in progress. The bathroom will be installed at the beginning of 2026.

This bathroom has been completely transformed from a plain travertine-clad room into a stylish, functional, and inviting space. The original design had little personality and storage.
The overall style is still neutral and light, but details like the flooring and the ‘sauna inspired’ wood panelling in the shower add visual interest and a rustic farmhouse touch. Industrial-style fixtures are balanced with natural materials, creating a space that feels both elegant and lived-in.
Practicality was key: ample storage is provided through the vanity unit, keeping the room clutter-free. The brass detailing combines elegance and warmth, while subtle lighting and thoughtful accessories complete the look.
The result is a timeless bathroom with personality - a space you’ll want to linger in.
-
Upon completion of the visualisation phase, the client said “It takes my very basic and practical thoughts, and takes them up several notches to something that feels indulgent.” and that’s exactly my aim when working with any client. I want to take your ideas and your needs and produce something that speaks to them, and some!
-
This bathroom has been designed to feel like a serene coastal escape, inspired by the sauna on a beach local to the client’s home. Natural textures and layered materials evoke the calm, organic character of the coastline, while a soft, understated colour palette reinforces the sense of ease.
Every element contributes to a spa-like atmosphere - the neutral herringbone floor tiles, warm lighting, shower wood panelling, brass shower fittings and thoughtfully curated accessories. The result is a space that feels welcoming, restorative, and perfectly aligned with a home already deeply connected to the sea.
FULL HOME RENOVATION
DESIGN STYLE: MODERN COASTAL
-
Full renovation including visualisation, space planning, furniture, fixtures, fittings and finishes selections, lighting selections, procurement, project management from start to finish and styling, for my parents home in South Devon.
-
This full-home renovation transformed a previously dated property into a timeless, modern coastal retreat. The original house lacked a cohesive style or personality, and felt a bit old for the couple moving into the property. On top of this, the layout posed several challenges, including one large, awkwardly shaped room, and a dark, narrow galley kitchen.
The renovation included both structural changes and design interventions to improve flow, light, and functionality: an oversized room was split to create a dedicated yoga studio and a cosier, better-proportioned living room, while an arch was removed, and double doors were added, to open up the kitchen and make it brighter and more inviting.
Although the home’s style leans towards modern coastal, the overarching goal was timeless design. Every choice, from the colour palette to the furniture, fixtures, and accessories, was made with longevity in mind. The client wasn’t interested in fleeting trends; instead, the home is designed to feel effortlessly stylish and functional for many years to come.
This renovation demonstrates how thoughtful design, limited structural changes, and careful material selection can completely elevate a space, blending modern aesthetics with comfort, practicality, and personality.
-
A key goal of this renovation was to create a home that flows seamlessly from room to room, feeling connected and balanced while still giving each space its own character. A modern coastal palette, warm rich infusions of colour, natural textures, and overall simplicity in design ties the entire home together, while careful selection of furniture, fixtures, and finishes ensures each room complements the next. We have created a harmonious home that feels intentional, welcoming, and effortlessly lived-in.
-
This home was designed to work perfectly for the older couple who live here full-time, while also accommodating occasional family visits and young grandchildren. The layout and finishes strike a careful balance: a cosy, warm living room which is what they were missing in their previous home, while the open kitchen and conservatory provide flexible spaces for entertaining when needed on more rare occasions.
Practical considerations were also key, for example, a dedicated room that supports the wife’s Thai yoga massage business.
All spaces were thoughtfully arranged to ensure comfort and functionality for both everyday life and visiting family.
The result is a home that feels personal and versatile.
EN-SUITE REFRESH
DESIGN STYLE: SCANDI-INDUSTRIAL
FINISHED ROOM PICTURES COMING SOON
-
To re-design a couple’s en-suite and provide ideas for their bedroom to ensure the two rooms would work seamlessly together. I created mood boards, a 2D plan, a 3D model and renderings. Phase 2 product selections & procurement, and project management of redesign is in progress.
-
To achieve a warm, natural, and timeless aesthetic, I’ve blended organic textures with modern, sleek finishes. Matte black fixtures add contemporary contrast, while soft lighting and the repetition of wood create a spa-like feeling. Different layered textures add depth and interest. Together, these elements create a calm, serene, and effortlessly elegant space that evokes the relaxed, understated beauty of Scandinavian design.
-
With beige travertine covering much of the walls and floor, the client was keen to elevate the overall look and have the travertine blend in more to the background. This was achieved through contrasting materials and finishes, incorporating tactile accessories, and adding subtle greenery. I also added more soft, ambient lighting to create warmth and depth, as well as the existing spotlights.
-
A key requirement was practical, stylish storage without disrupting the clean, minimal aesthetic. The travertine tiles and boxing in had meant this space lacked decent storage previously. The new design features a combination of closed cabinetry to discreetly house everyday essentials, and open shelving to display curated accessories and decorative pieces.
